It is THE most important topic for each and every bass player. More important than heads and cabinets. What brand and model would be the best? What kind of materials should the body, neck and fretboard on my bass guitar be made of (maple, ash, rosewood, heban, ebony, walnut, or bubinga)? Should the body be one piece of wood or glued together? How should the frets be polished? What kind of finish: lacquer or stain? Fender, Gibson, Fodera, Zakrzewski, Sadowsky, Lakland, Sandberg, MusicMan, F-bass, Mayones are just the top of the producers’ list. And then there’s the actual price you have to pay… The choice of colour and finish is up to you. We will try to advise you on the remaining issues and make your choice just a tiny bit easier.
