> Marcus Miller back in Poland

Legendary bassist, role model of thumb playing on the bass guitar, Marcus Miller, will be visiting Poland in November. He will perform 5 concerts as part of his Laid Black Tour, promoting his newest album called “Laid Black“, which was released on June 1, 2018. The bass guitar virtuoso will give five shows in the following cities:

Marcus Miller fans present in Poland during that time should look out for that!

During the spring concert tour this year, Marcus was playing with Alex Bailey on drums, Brett Williams on keys, Alex Han on saxophone and with Flavio Boltro on trumpet.

Miller uses his third name, but his full name is William Henry Marcus Miller Jr. born in Brooklyn (N.Y.C.). His first serious offer as a musician came from Michał Urbaniak – the Polish violin virtuoso. The next big event in Marcus’ career was a collaboration with the legendary trumpet player Miles Davis. This collaboration resulted in the “Tutu” album, which is one of the most popular and critically acclaimed albums in Marcus’ career. A lion’s share of the album was composed by the bassist, including the title track. Miller is a multiple Grammy Award winner, who in his long-standing career has collaborated with the likes of: Chaka Khan, David Sanborn, Wayne Shorter, Bob James, Stanley Clarke, Dizzy Gillespie, Grover Washington Jr., Luther Vandross. Marcus has recorded about 20 solo albums.
